RTST
RTST is a DJ/Designer based in Chicago, Illinois. He is known for his turntablist skills and is a renowned DJ in the battle circuit. In 2014, he became the Cut2Cut NYC Champ and represented the United States in the DMC Team World Finals alongside his crew, the “Chicago Turntablist Authority.” RTST is a firm believer in cultural preservation and has organized DJ meetups and battles to promote Hip Hop culture. He has worked alongside DMC, Skratcher, Battle Ave, and Guitar Center Chicago to provide a space for DJs and turntablists to showcase their skills and push others to innovate. RTST has held several residencies and events throughout Chicago, playing a wide variety of music. He has opened for the likes of Shortkut, D-Styles, Freddie Gibbs, Jean Deaux, Gift of Gab, and Kool G Rap.
