ROWDY
Joshua “Rowdy” Rowsey was an underground North Carolina recording artist, actor/improviser, and writer who has been featured on NPR, DJ Booth, and Indy Week. Joshua was a founding member of the national hip hop collective “No9to5 Music”. He initiated the UNC-Chapel Hill cypher, which was nominated for an Indy Week award for best place to listen to Hip Hop in the Triangle.
Rowsey shared the stage with a number of internationally acclaimed recording artists, and made it his mission to cultivate a thriving hip hop culture in North Carolina.
