Ms. Yellow
Ms. Yellow is a self-taught international artist, muralist, craftswoman, and teaching artist of Mexican descent. Born in Long Beach, California, she has dedicated her time to the creative development and empowerment of community and youth through direct engagement. For 11 years, she has worked closely with schools, community centers, and more to develop workshops, murals, and mentorship for the youth. As a muralist, Ms. Yellow has worked with cities, communities, and galleries to bring colorful murals to the masses. Her work explores themes such as culture, folklore, sisterhood, education, unity, love, and social justice. Her artwork and murals have been displayed in museums, galleries, and streets throughout the United States and worldwide, including in Australia, Egypt, France, Haiti, Japan, Mexico, and Spain.
