Genesis “Genesis Be” Briggs is an MC from Biloxi, Mississippi. Genesis Be utilizes hip hop and visual art as a tool to educate and inspire young people to be proactive in civic engagement with her organization: Strive Till I Rise. Genesis Be captivated America with her bold theatrical protest against the Mississippi state flag in 2016.
