“DJ Quest” (DJ) is a founding member of Bullet Proof Scratch Hamsters/Space Travelerz and is a devotee of an original, reverse form of scratching that he has coined ‘Hamster Style’. In this outfit and with his experimental Jazz/Hip-Hop group Livehuman, DJ Quest has performed in Europe, Australia, Japan and around the U.S. He is also a featured artist in the Doug Pray documentary ‘SCRATCH’, and works with Quest School of DJ Arts/The DJ Project – a non-profit community organization offering arts entrepreneurship programs. He has also written ‘The Beginner’s DJ Guide’ to introduce readers to scratch music and help expand the accessibility of turntables as instruments.

 

Leigh “Breeze-Lee” Foaad (Dancer) has been training and working professionally as a principle dancer for Rennie Harris “Puremovement” (RHPM) since 2005. One of his proudest moments with RHPM was in March 2012, when he was selected as a Cultural Ambassador for The Obama Administration, BAM, and DanceMotion USA, providing services in Egypt, Israel & Palestine.

Breeze-lee found a love for a street-dance style called “Popping” in the year 2002 & since then has competed in some of the most prestigious competitions on a national level and worldwide scale.  Some of his biggest victories include Popping Champion for “The Week” in Italy, “Bust a Move” in Canada, “Freestyle Session” in Los Angeles and lastly, North American Champion for “R-16 Qualifier”, which led Breeze-lee to represent USA at the Finals in Seoul, Korea.

In addition, Breeze-lee is the Co-Founder & Co-Artistic Director of the non-profit Versa-Style Dance Company, where he is determined to express and share the knowledge & importance of Hip-hop culture.  He is also currently is Adjunct Lecturer at UCLA’s Dept. of World Arts & Cultures/Dance teaching Hip-hop dance.

 

Danielle Mastrion (Graffiti Artist) is a Brooklyn-born painter and muralist. She earned a B.F.A from Parsons School of Design, and is a self-taught aerosol artist and educator. Danielle has been painting murals locally and internationally since 2012, and her work has taken her around the world. She chooses festivals that have a direct relationship to the local communities and that put local artists together with international ones. Danielle’s work focuses on social justice, specifically women’s rights and youth education. She works with many schools, shelters, youth-based mentoring organizations, conservation organizations, and several anti-gun violence organizations. She is a Teaching Artist with Creative Art Works in NYC and a trained oil painter with a background in Live Painting. She has several ongoing residencies in NYC where she is an active participant in the local art and activism communities. Her work has been featured in the A&E channel’s “In Focus” artist series, New Balance’s “Made Mondays”, Budweiser’s “Respect The Hustle” campaign, Spike Lee’s “She’s Gotta Have It” Netflix series, the documentary “No Free Walls”, and the upcoming “Street Heroines” documentary.

 

Divinity Roxx (MC) is a songwriter and bass-player in Atlanta Georgia. In her career playing bass she has performed with the bands of Victor Wooten and Beyoncé, and has appeared on Saturday Night Live, The Grammy’s, and at a special performance at the White House for president Barack Obama. Since then she has been working on solo material and will be an MC with Next Level.

 

Kane “Novakane” Smego (MC) is an international touring spoken word poet and hip hop artist, educator, and former artistic director of a youth arts nonprofit. He will serve as the site manager for Team Morocco. He has performed and led programs all across the U.S. and on five continents, as well as instructed a course on Spoken Word and Oral History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He was featured on Grammy award-winner King Mez’s debut album, My Everlasting Zeal, alongside such accomplished artists as J. Cole and Soundtrakk, and recently made the Spotify Viral Top 50 featured on the record “North Cack” with fellow Next Level artist G Yamazawa. A native of Durham, NC, Novakane currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. First traveling as an MC with Next Level Zimbabwe, Kane returned to serve as the Site Manager for residencies in Thailand, Brazil, and Morocco.
